Random Thought Thursday

*******
I'm so proud to be an American. On their way to Haiti, even as we speak, are ships and airplanes with soldiers, civilians, food and relief supplies.

*******
My antique German wall clock that ran for four days last week has stopped running. I tried to set it to the correct time....big mistake.

*******
I'm still waiting to see blue skies with no yukky in the air. Puerto Vallarta on Saturday will be a welcome site. Just hope they aren't having yukky air also as they sometimes do.

*******
Today I Am Very Much Looking Forward To:
(1) visiting two of my little Sunbeam girls, visiting with the third tomorrow.
(2) Having the tires rotated on my car and getting it washed.
(3) Participating in a Relief Society group project.
(4) Packing suitcases for trip to Puerto Vallarta.

Random Thought Thursday

*******
I sure would like to see blue skies with no "yuk" in the air.

*******
When I returned our antique German wall clock to it's "home" on the wall in our entry way after Christmas, I routinely started the pendulum swinging. Four days later it is still ticking! This is pretty amazing, as I have started this clock dozens of times only to have it stop after 5-6 minutes. (Dave has suggested we just get rid of it since it doesn't keep time. Not a chance!!) These clocks have to be placed in "perfect alignment" on the wall in order to keep running. I guess this time I was lucky. Now I need to figure out how to wind it AND change the hands to reflect the correct time, all while keeping it running.

*******
I'm so grateful for the job offer Joseph has received ...and that it is "relatively" close (12 hour drive/1 hour flight) for visits.

*******
I'm hoping, soon, to be grateful for the job offer Jay will have received...and that it will also be "relatively" close for visits.

*******
Today I Am Very Much Looking Forward To:
(1) A visit from Nicole
(2) Finishing the "spring cleaning" of two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms
(3) Taking a simple, winter dinner (soup, salad, crackers and fruit) to a single lady in our ward
(4) Scrapbooking Jayden's school portrait, Ethan's one year portraits, all the grandkids in their Halloween costumes and Elena's birth.
(4) Preparing my Sunbeam lesson for Sunday
(5) Enjoying another sugar cookie in the shape of a mitten that I made last weekend.

My Focus For The Week

As I sat in the Sunbeam class in Primary today, my co-teacher taught the lesson entitled, "I Am A Child Of God". In her very simple and loving way, she taught
these three three-year-old girls and me that we have a Heavenly Father that
knows us and loves us very much.
