it was a great week, wasn't it? i was telling a friend about it and came to the realization that because almost everyone is still there, when we come, our week is packed in order to get visits in with everyone. in comparison, our weeks when you come here are much slower. i love both, for the differences.

Fun when we can get together, no matter what the crowd, or how busy or laid back. As Nat says above, their are advantages to both.

It is interesting about the hurried rush that a vacation to visit most of your family and friends brings.
Two of our very best techs in the laboratory are married, and enjoyed living here before kids. Now, with two small kids, they are moving to Grand Junction so that they can be closer to each of their parents, and one of the main reasons, aside from loving their families and wanting to see more of them, is that when they do go home (which is all they have the vacation time to do) they come back completely worn out from visiting so many people in such a short amount of time.
